What would Skyrim look like if its sprawling open world were rebuilt as a serialized fantasy drama? Developed with TheDarkLord, this project takes the quests, characters, factions, and mythology of Bethesda’s game and reshapes them into a focused first season of television.
One game. One season. One way into Tamriel.
The Pitch
The first season introduces our version of the Dragonborn’s journey and explores how Skyrim’s open-ended storytelling might be translated into a more structured television narrative, balancing the game’s major conflicts with the characters and smaller stories that make the world feel alive.
Behind the Pitch
Pitching a Skyrim TV Show marked TheDarkLord’s first collaboration with Phoenix Studios, beginning a creative partnership that would later continue across several rewrite and pitch projects.
From Pitch to Full Season
Want to see how the entire season comes together? Written by TheDarkLord, the complete Season One outline expands the ideas introduced in our video pitch into a full episode-by-episode roadmap, detailing the characters, quests, conflicts, and storylines that would shape our adaptation of Skyrim.
From the Archive
The original concept was imagined as a three-season adaptation, but only the first-season pitch was ultimately produced. For now, the project remains preserved as a standalone experiment in adapting an open-world RPG for television. Future journeys through Skyrim are always possible - but none are currently planned.
